Babies enter free, stroller routes are flat and three changing tables exist, but no verified nursing room and sometimes dim, crowded halls may require parents to plan extra comfort stops.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This gives time for a relaxed stroller pace and baby breaks at each exhibit.
Quiet Aquarium Walk:
Stroll the main exhibit on wide, level paths and watch 61 Mediterranean-species tanks at your own pace.
Tip: Pause often; the slow fish movements can calm your baby and give them new sights.
Discovery Touch Pools:
Visit the hands-on pools housing starfish and sea urchins in the Discovery Area.
Tip: Hold your baby securely and let them feel the cool water under supervision.
Sea-View Seating Areas:
Rest on shaded benches overlooking the Cretan Sea at the outdoor terrace.
Tip: Use this spot for feedings or nap breaks with a sea breeze.
Café & Snack Break:
Use the outdoor café with stroller space and infant seats.
Tip: Grab a light snack and sit near the railing for fresh air and views.
In summer, arrive early to avoid heat and crowds. In winter, check for shorter hours and enjoy quieter galleries.

You should visit this with or without kids since it is highly maintained and interesting to visit. Exhibits are divided by tanks and each one has separate species inside. You can pick and read from the monitors nearby or even watch on your phone for ease of access. I definitely recommend bying tickets in advance because the wait can be huge.

Thank you! It was beautiful there! I went in the morning and there were less people, around 12 there are more! The jellyfish and sharks are the best part. The women in the gift shop were very friendly too! 🩵🩵🩵🩵🩵🐟🐟🐟

A nice aquarium. Plenty to see and enjoy on a hot day. Get there early to beat the coach groups. We spent about 90 minutes there. There is a restaurant on site and of course a shop. We didn't use either.

Spectacular, just check out the pictures. We decided to spend the time before our flight here and it was a great decision. So many animals to see, for a great price. In total we spent about 90 minutes here and another half hour outside at the terrace under the trees.
