We had an absolutely perfect experience at this beach bar. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The beach itself is stunning - clean, beautifull and the atmosphere is just relaxing.

Pretty beach with golden sands. Lots of young people, club music and trash though. Showers were not working and no changing cubicles. 15 euro for 2 sun beds.

The best beach in my opinion near Heraklion. It has this beach bar - News Cafe - it is just sensational. The food is great, great music and the staff very kind. I can only highly recommend it.
From June to August, visit before 10 AM or after 4 PM to beat the heat and crowds. In May and September, some water-sport rentals may be limited but the beach stays quieter.
