We had an absolutely perfect experience at this beach bar. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the very first moment. The beach itself is stunning - clean, beautifull and the atmosphere is just relaxing.

It’s probably the best one: mild waves, not many people, transparent water, not expensive places to eat, you can see airplanes landing every 5 min

Pretty beach with golden sands. Lots of young people, club music and trash though. Showers were not working and no changing cubicles. 15 euro for 2 sun beds.

The best beach in my opinion near Heraklion. It has this beach bar - News Cafe - it is just sensational. The food is great, great music and the staff very kind. I can only highly recommend it.
From June to August, visit before 10 AM or after 4 PM to avoid peak sun and crowds. In May and September the beach is quieter and water stays warm. From mid-October to April, many rentals and bars close—check availability ahead.
