What makes it 70% Kids-Friendly: A fenced playground, sports courts and lawns encourage active play, yet no staff supervision, basic restrooms and some uneven ground require close parental oversight and shorten stays.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for trails, playground fun, picnic, and a café break without rushing kids.
Playground Exploration:
Let kids play on swings and slides in the fenced area near the café.
Tip: Visit in morning or late afternoon when shaded by pines.
Nature Trails Walk:
Follow the flat, pine-lined paths for a gentle family stroll.
Tip: Bring comfortable shoes and refillable water bottles.
Family Picnic & Games:
Spread a blanket near the sports courts for open-space games.
Tip: Pick a spot in the shade and pack a frisbee or soccer ball.
Sports & Rollerblade Loop:
Use basketball, soccer, and tennis courts or the small rollerblade track.
Tip: Bring your own ball and skates; courts are free to use.
Café Patio Break:
Enjoy coffee, soft drinks, and snacks on the outdoor terrace.
Tip: Order a cold drink after active play to cool off.

It's a pretty nice park but I really wish it was better maintained.

Very nice park to have a stroll with kids and or pets. Nice for cycling through and around the park. Contains a couple of nice cafeterias, a roller blade track and various sport sites like basketball, soccer, track and field and tennis court.

Nice park, just during winter the lights go on around 21h. So you have one hour of pitch dark that makes things a bit harder. Besides that is a great park to go for a run, walk the dog, chill a bit. Also they are doing some improving still, so I guess it will get even better soon
Visit mid-May to early June for the floricultural exhibition with daily kids workshops. In summer, watch for free outdoor movie nights and children’s theatre events.
