While I used to love this hotel, their limitations on A/C have convinced to go somewhere else: in 2026 – the 4* Hotel Este, right by the Gare de l'Est. We arrived here at 1 pm. At 3 pm the room is not ready and we dont know when we will be in the room. And rude recepcionist and no apologize. And she said you are lucky. I would never recommend you to come here

I was disappointed. Spent extra for a Studio Deluxe with a balcony. The pictures looked nothing like reality. I actually pulled up the hotel site to see if my mind was playing tricks on me. No air conditioning. They have some kind of swamp cooler system, but even with it churning away in a darkened room all day at « 65F » , your room will be 78F+ at night. Have stayed here twice, both times in spacious rooms with good functionality and a lot of storage space. I've been to a number of aparthotels over the years, and I really don't think you can get a bigger room at this price range in central Paris (and probably this only lasts until they get round to upgrading the somewhat dated bathrooms).
