CUTEEE PLACE! the museum is interesting to visit during that season! there are a lots of amazing installation we can easily access and explore, the museum is not too big so even 2-3 hours is enough to cover all, the arts is very pretty! and please don't forget to check their souvenir store as it has looots of cool (and unique, funny 🤣) stuff! We went on one of the Thursday evening late openings, so it’s free from 7pm - midnight. It’s the perfect location to spend a few hours wandering around the galleries. The bookshop is superb. We arrived around 9:45pm hoping to get a drink but the bar/cafe was closing. Cute venue with plenty of space and comfortable seating in the gallery, perfect for resting between exhibitions. There’s also a nice restaurant nearby. In August 2025, we enjoyed only 2 of the 5 exhibitions. The venue had no air conditioning, which could be uncomfortable on hot days.

Palais de Tokyo was originally built for the 1937 Paris World’s Fair, and its name comes from the street it once faced—Avenue de Tokyo. Today, it’s one of the most exciting places to see bold and experimental contemporary art. I really loved how open and free the whole space felt—it doesn’t feel like a typical museum at all. Just being there sparks your curiosity.

Although it was very hot during my visit, I still enjoyed it! The museum part was just amazing, the art was great and it truly moved me. But remember - you will have to think hours wise while you’re planning on going there - one hour is not enough time to see the pieces there.
