Of course, it’s worth visiting if you’re in Paris for the first time – the view from the top is really impressive. Luckily, you don’t have to wait too long to go up. However, the area around is extremely crowded with tourists, people crossing the streets everywhere, so you need to be careful. Also, watch out for pickpockets. Still, as a landmark, it’s definitely beautiful and iconic.

Very cool mount to history. This may not be a great stop if you have children as there is very little interactivity. It is also very difficult for anybody who has mobility impaired as it is 287 steps to this top. There is an elevator, but it takes a special pass and medical information to get access to the elevator.

A magnificent sight that overwhelms when it comes into sight. Tickets and tours should be booked in advance. The amount of police in the area is unbelievable and plentiful along with some soldiers. Easy to access from public transport. Amazing craft work and also the location of the tomb of the unknown soldier.

The iconic vie...

Magnificent arc located on a busy roundabout. You need to take the subway to reach under the arc. Stunning monument. Amazing detailing. Didn't go inside but really loved visiting this historical monument. There was a sombre mood there but very pleasant experience. Wasn't very busy when we visited. Must visit on a trip to Paris.
