What makes it 45% Baby-Friendly: Babies may enter and a stroller fits nave aisle, but step entrance, no listed changing table, no nursing room and many silent moments create logistical stress, limiting comfort for caregivers.
Note: Basilique du Sacré-Cœur is 45% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Marseille for a more suitable experience.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Short visit is enough to explore the interior, attend a weekday Mass, and plan baby-care breaks without rushing.
Attend a weekday Mass:
Join a short service at 8:30 or 19:00 on weekdays.
Tip: Keep the stroller against a wall to stay close and hands-free.
Self-guided interior tour:
Walk the flat nave to see stained glass by Henri Pinta and Botinelly’s Pietà.
Tip: Move at your own pace; avoid aisles near the crypt stairs with a stroller.
Plan a baby-care break:
Arrange to use a staff restroom for changing or step into a nearby café.
Tip: Call the parish office ahead to reserve access to staff toilets.

When you once notice this basilica at first sight it looks like an ordinary middle century architectural style building, but when you enter inside it can impress you with its absolutely stunning interior with many details. Unfortunately it is not open every day. The only time I found it opened was an early morning.

What an adventure to get there but the view is splendid. Completely worth it !

I give this church five stars. It’s a church deserving of five stars. It has nice arches, and from the pictures you can definitely appreciate the arches in the architecture.

A must, IMO. Not just the church but the whole Montmartre area. Wonderful view. Great little restaurants/shops and artists working outdoor. Go down the hill from the village and discover more boutiques and a great little artist neighborhood

On top of the hill with a marvellous view of Paris. Worth a visit. Crazily busy on weekends.
Summer mornings are cooler and less crowded; check Mass times before public holidays.
