Some front desk staff were cold and not so welcoming. At check in there were no mentions of facilities such as swimming pool or gym. There weren’t any bottles of water in room only to find out from other guests you had to get the empty glass bottles by lifts to fill up yourself at various water fountain. The hotel was a few minutes walk from the tram and not far from the old town and the railway station. Ideally located for a short visit to Lyon. The room was clean and well equipped. The swimming pool was very small but was welcome in the heat. Most staff were friendly.

Fire alarm went off three times between 3 and 4:30am, no apology the next day. The bathrooms were small and the showers were not great. But the beds were lovely and the rooms were quiet. Good location but lots of road works outside.
