Great stadium for rugby. Historical venue. Great hospitality.

What a cool place! Such a vibe. We were in town visiting our kids and our daughter bought us tickets to a game. My husband couldn’t make it but it was my first rugby game! So fun! I had a blast, was not bored in the least and even sort of caught on to what was going on before the end. 😂

We had a long walk out to the stadium but there are a few public transport options to get there. Lots of road works around the stadium in early 2025. Stadium is very easy to get around. Seating isn't steep, so it is easy to get to your seat, but a big spectator in front of you will hamper your view. There are lots of toilets, but some are squatters.

for me, this is the most beautiful stadium in Europe, a stadium that has a soul, the character of an impregnable fortress, and which has witnessed historic maestral duels. Great Lyon, great Gerland. Thank you for everything.I'm sorry that it is no longer the home of the Olympique Lionnais 😔

They really do have a social interactive community who truly support their local clubs and teams! Great ambiance! Great views! Great food!
The rugby season runs September–May; summer brings occasional concerts and open‐air events. In winter, dress in layers for chilly stands. Check the stadium website for pool hours and event calendars.
