What makes it 67% Kids-Friendly: Kids enter many matches free or from €5, join the supervised P’tits LOU corner and splash in the outdoor pool, yet the stadium lists no playrooms or child-size toilets, so plan breaks and ear protection.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for a match, pool visit, kids’ corner and a brasserie meal without rushing.
Watch a LOU Rugby match:
Cheer at a Top 14 or Challenge Cup game from the family zone.
Tip: Book youth tickets (€5–€15) online. Kids under 5 enter free. Arrive 90 minutes before kickoff.
Join the P’tits LOU kids’ corner:
Kids aged 5–12 get supervised games and a goody bag.
Tip: Register at the ticket office one hour before the match. Collect children 30 minutes after full-time.
Splash at UCPA Aqua Stadium:
Use the outdoor 50 m heated pool and family-only indoor slots.
Tip: Free for under-4s. Book weekend indoor sessions in advance on ucpa.com.
Explore the parvis and team shop:
Let kids run in the plaza and pick up jerseys or toys.
Tip: Bring a ball for free play. The shop opens at 10 AM on non-match days.
Dine at L’Atelier du Ruck:
Shareable boards and a kids’ menu in the on-site brasserie.
Tip: High chairs available. Order the daily plat du jour for quick service.

Great stadium for rugby. Historical venue. Great hospitality.

What a cool place! Such a vibe. We were in town visiting our kids and our daughter bought us tickets to a game. My husband couldn’t make it but it was my first rugby game! So fun! I had a blast, was not bored in the least and even sort of caught on to what was going on before the end. 😂

We had a long walk out to the stadium but there are a few public transport options to get there. Lots of road works around the stadium in early 2025. Stadium is very easy to get around. Seating isn't steep, so it is easy to get to your seat, but a big spectator in front of you will hamper your view. There are lots of toilets, but some are squatters.

for me, this is the most beautiful stadium in Europe, a stadium that has a soul, the character of an impregnable fortress, and which has witnessed historic maestral duels. Great Lyon, great Gerland. Thank you for everything.I'm sorry that it is no longer the home of the Olympique Lionnais 😔

They really do have a social interactive community who truly support their local clubs and teams! Great ambiance! Great views! Great food!
In summer, cool off in the outdoor pool. In winter, focus on match days and indoor brunch hours at the brasserie. Book indoor pool slots on cooler weekends.
