What makes it 39% Baby-Friendly: A paved path allows a stroller and benches offer a feeding stop, yet no toilets, changing tables, or shade structures make longer visits uncomfortable for babies and carers.
Note: Garden of Curiosities is 39% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Lyon for a more suitable experience.
Why 2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Good time for a stroll with a baby including breaks at viewpoints and rest spots.
Stroller-friendly viewpoint stroll:
Follow the paved curved path up to the belvédère.
Tip: Use a lightweight stroller to navigate the smooth 90 cm-wide path easily.
Grass-mat nap on the lawn:
Lay a picnic mat under the light-leaf trees for a baby nap.
Tip: Choose a shaded spot on the gentle slope for extra comfort and calm.
Baby-wearing meditation on a bench:
Sit on one of the sculpted chairs with baby in a sling.
Tip: Enjoy two-minute calming breaths as you gaze over Lyon’s rooftops.

It took time to reach the place but the view it's incredible.

A lovely, quiet park overlooking Lyon. It's small, but a great place to relax. But I couldn't find any grocery stores or coffee shops nearby to grab refreshments.

Little peaceful corner that can be reached with an uphill walk from Presqu'ile after crossing the Kitchener Marchand bridge. This garden was donated by the city of Montreal to mark the 20th anniversary of the cooperation relations with Lyon. Probably one of the best panoramic views on the city.

Nice view but not like amazing, dogs not allowed which kinda sucks

Very beautiful place. The ideal location to take outstanding pictures and have a picnic. You can arrive very easily by bus and it’s a great option if you want to explore Lyon a little bit.
In summer, visit in the early evening when temperatures drop and gates stay open until 10 p.m. In winter, skip rainy days as paved paths can get slippery for strollers.
