Beautiful, wonderful, I will go back again and again! Will do an inside tour on my next visit for sure! This is Professor X school for the gifted in the Xmen movies and Deadpool 2. Peacocks roam freely, many squirrels. Beautiful gardens and forest all around. It's a vancouver island paradise.

I always ♥ coming here and strolling the grounds. The staff do such an amazing job tending to the gardens. The castle itself is closed to the public due to some kind of pandemic. My little place of zen is in the Japanese Garden, it is filled with tiny pagodas and a little lake/pond to sit by. It also has this tree that looks like a massive bonsai tree from certain angles. This is also the location...

The castle was cool to see, although because of COVID you can’t go inside at this time. The gardens are free to enter and are absolutely lovely! Definitely worth a stop.
The Epic Lalondes
Such a beautiful place to explore! Gorgeous tress, and the gardens are an amazing way to spend an afternoon wandering around! Plus, there just something about randomly wandering peacocks that add a bit of magic to your adventure!

This is a wonderful place to go with a family or for a solitary walk. There are beautiful buildings, rolling hills, fantastic views, wildlife, water and a beach. The large grounds offer places to sit and think, gardens to peruse and above all a castle. A great place for a walk, but find a place to park as it costs $1/h to park.
Cherry blossoms peak late March; rose gardens bloom June. Castle tours run mid-May to early September.
