I went to Capilano Suspension Bridge twice and this was always been on my list to visit since they’re close to each other— I definitely recommend Lynn Canyon more. No entrance fee, plenty of parking, trails are easy (very kid-friendly), and plenty of options depending on how long you want to hike. There are also plenty of picnic tables at the entrance as well porta potties. The washrooms at the ca...

This was a great spot to experience Vancouver’s natural beauty. The suspension bridge may be smaller than some of the other bridges, but the fact that it’s free more than makes up for it. The park is beautifully maintained, there was no wait time, and it wasn’t crowded at all. We spent about an hour walking the trails and could’ve easily stayed longer if we hadn’t been short on time.

Stunning. Breathtaking. The suspension bridge is very close to the parking lot so even with a sprained ankle it was no problem getting there. From there you can choose to go on multiple trails a lot of which are boarded and there are a lot of stairs. A short hike to twin bridge downstream and to the 30ft pools upstream. If you are looking for a quiet retreat in nature I suggest going early morning...

If you wish, you can walk a little along the mountain slopes, overcoming obstacles from boulders and forest roots.) You can also swim in beautiful small mountain reservoirs with spring water. I definitely re...
Summer offers ranger-led walks (July–August). Trails get slippery in spring—bring extra traction. Swimming at 30-Foot Pool is safe only on warm days.
