What makes it 68% Kids-Friendly: Children can tackle a phone-based scavenger hunt and Canada Day crafts, but there is no playground, road traffic borders the lawn, and winter washroom hours shrink, so parents must plan extra stops.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A 2-3 hour visit allows time for a scavenger hunt, guided tour, and picnic without rushing young children.
Self-Guided Scavenger Hunt:
Interactive 3.4 km tour featuring over 35 monuments around the park.
Tip: Download the app at the start point near Royal Conservatory and pause for breaks under shady trees.
Free Guided Tour of the Legislature:
30-60 minute tour explaining art, architecture, and history in child-friendly terms.
Tip: Arrive 15 minutes early at Visitors’ Entrance on Wellesley St. West for security screening.
Monument Stroll & Lawn Picnic:
Relax among statues and gardens with a packed lunch.
Tip: Bring a blanket and pick a spot near the Queen Victoria statue for photo ops.

Nice place to sit and relax and watch the people go about their day. Has a bunch of seats around the statue like it's king of s--t mountain, but it's nice. Kids skateboard there and you can watch them fail at the tricks over and over again.

Queen's Park in Toronto is a nice relief. Right in the middle, you'll find an impressive statue of King Edward VII on a horse, which gives the park a unique charm. It's a popular spot, especially with students and faculty from the nearby University of Toronto, so there's appears to always a lively, friendly atmosphere. The park is perfect for a leisurely walk, a picnic, or just sitting on a bench ...

I am no Lady Whistledown, albeit I art to leave a proper review on Queen’s Park through a Victorian lens. Dearest reader, if one were to seek a locale that epitomizes the pinnacle of genteel leisure and natural splendor, Queens Park would undoubtedly stand unrivaled. Its wide-open area gives the visitors a very delightful experience. Some spots are great for taking a picture with, and also it's suitable to sit and have a chat with family or friends
Visit on July 1 for Canada Day activities like face painting and games. In early fall, enjoy cooler weather and colorful leaves under the park’s mature trees.
