Promenade Samuel-De Champlain in Quebec City is a beautifully designed waterfront park that stretches along the St. Lawrence River. It offers stunning views, well-maintained walking and biking paths, and several recreational areas, making it a great spot for outdoor activities. We went here July 15 2023 It was recently opened. We loved it. The swimming pool was closed when we arrived at 8PM. The kids enjoyed their time playing in the sprinklers. They also have changing rooms where you can change as long with a restaurant. I love the effect as if you were basically in the saint Lawerence river. It is a beautiful spot.

the most beautiful and design-y park i’ve ever been to! such a pleasure to be able to run along the river and see cool architectures throughout. the pavilions are so artistically designed. one area of improvement, many sinks and water fountains are not functional. while i appreciate the LED lights around the sink handle, having running water should be a bigger priority.

Lovely, scenic space to stretch your legs and take in the views. Wish there had been a public toilet 🚻, but otherwise a great place to stop.

Beautiful long bike/walking path with art, fountains and a magnificent view of the St. Lawrence. I highly recommend a stroll along it. There was an observation deck with a fabulous view for a panoramic shot.
Summer water play runs daily 10 – 20 h; bring sunscreen and hats. In winter paths may ice over and water features close; dress in warm layers.
