What makes it 83% Couple-Friendly: Couples enjoy quiet marsh scenery, picnic shelter, seasonal bird events and sunset boardwalk; absence of evening lighting, cafés or indoor backup can limit romance in bad weather.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: This time lets you hike key trails, spot wildlife, use the audio guide and enjoy a picnic without rushing.
Hike the marsh and forest trails:

Use the BaladoDécouvertes audio-guide:
Load the ‘Les quatre saisons’ podcast to learn seasonal ecology on the go.
Tip: Download episodes before arrival to avoid cell-service issues.
Spot birds at observation points:
Sit on marshside benches to watch waterfowl and songbirds.
Tip: Bring binoculars and log sightings on eBird or iNaturalist.
Picnic at the pavilion:
Set up lunch under the shelter overlooking the marsh.
Tip: Pack a light meal and a blanket for extra comfort.
Attend Fête des Oiseaux (June 21):

This place is so beautiful that I take my children there for hiking and they love to see diverse wild life especially in the spring. In the winter they love having the birds come eat from their own hands without much effort or patience. Come visit the site and bring a small 2$ or more with you to help maintain the site open to its visitors.

Amazing place for birdwatching and walking, so glad we found it.
Spring and fall bring peak bird migrations and colourful foliage. Summer mornings are best for wildlife activity. In winter, trails open after snowfall—wear waterproof boots and layers.
