What makes it 83% Solo-Friendly: A solo visitor can jog, cycle, photograph wildlife or use the parkour course; winter rentals and toilets exist. Only downside is limited indoor shelter when weather turns.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: Allows time to try multiple activities, enjoy river views and explore the footbridge
Run or cycle the multi-use loop:
Follow the 1.5 km paved trail along the Saint-Charles River.
Tip: Start at the pavilion, bring water and go early to avoid foot traffic.
Train at the outdoor parkour zone:
Challenge steel bars, concrete blocks and benches for strength drills.
Tip: Warm up first and pick obstacles that match your skill level.
Photograph wildlife on renaturalized banks:
Spot ducks, herons and urban scenery along the riverbanks.
Tip: Bring a telephoto lens and stay on marked paths to avoid disturbing birds.
Skate the illuminated winter loop:
Glide a 1.5 km oval under lights (mid-December to mid-March).
Tip: Rent skates onsite and aim for weekday mornings to skip rental lines.
Cross the Passerelle de la Tortue at sunset:
Walk the architect-designed footbridge for panoramic city and river views.
Tip: Arrive 30 minutes before sunset for the best light on the water.

Very stunning place…!

Honestly, a great park. Not huge, not a lot of amenities, but just right for a city dog park. There is an area for large dogs, and an area for smaller dogs. Dogs are generally very friendly and owners are diligent.

awesome! two parts. One for small dogs witch is nice! Brand new just renovated. grass, trees rocks and places to sit. you also have access to water!
Summer: picnic at the pavilion and bike the trails. Fall: enjoy crisp air, fall foliage and quieter paths. Winter: skate, snowshoe or ski on groomed loops and toboggan the hill. Spring: watch migrating birds as the river thaws.
