What makes it 92% Kids-Friendly: Children up to 12 can burn energy on the playground, cedar maze, splash pad and flat bike paths, and free entry keeps costs low; supervision needed near ponds but risks are typical for parks.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Enough time to enjoy the maze, playground, water garden and a picnic without rushing.
Kid-friendly hedge maze run:
Let children race through the 350 m cedar labyrinth.
Tip: Mark start and finish points and stick together when paths split.
Playground modules:
Enjoy slides, swings and psychomotor equipment in the summer play area.
Tip: Bring a change of clothes and water shoes for extra splashes nearby.
Splash pad play:
Cool off at ground-level fountains near the maze.
Tip: Pack swimsuits and towels; area opens when temperatures rise above 20 °C.
Water-garden exploration:
Stroll boardwalks to spot frogs, plants and insects in the pond.
Tip: Bring a magnifying glass and binoculars for close-up views.
Picnic & lawn games:
Spread a blanket on green lawns and play frisbee or soccer.

Was a Bright sunny day in early spring. Still muddy, but many places to walk still. Only complaint is the idiot cyclists careening through the parking area. Laughed my butt off when 2 crashed into one another.. other than that, beautiful park with rolling hills and many features to wander around and explore, a true park. Hope to visit again when everything is in full bloom.

Very nice place for a walk

Nice place to take a walk! There are still some ice on the ground, which makes walking a little bit risky! Overall a great park!
In summer, visit early to snag pool and splash pad time. Winters offer snowshoe rentals and groomed trails; dress in layers and reserve equipment ahead.
