What makes it 88% Baby-Friendly: Parents with babies benefit from stroller-friendly paved paths and free changing tables, yet there is no dedicated nursing room and tower stairs block stroller access, so plan breaks accordingly.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for stroller rides, a picnic, and splash pad play at a relaxed pace.
Stroller-friendly trails:
Follow flat, paved paths through the arboretum and historic circuit.
Tip: Stay on main paths to avoid uneven surfaces.
Paddling pool for infants:
Let your baby splash in shallow, calm water near the children's pool area.
Tip: Bring swim diapers and supervise closely.
Toddler swings & play modules:
Visit the playground with baby swings and soft-ground toy areas.
Tip: Go during off-peak hours for more space.
Shaded picnic by the water:
Set up lunch under trees beside the water garden ponds.
Tip: Pack light blankets and easy-to-eat finger foods.
Baby-changing & restrooms:
Use facilities with changing tables at Chalet Lacroix and service buildings.
Tip: Plan breaks around baby’s feeding or nap schedule.

Was a Bright sunny day in early spring. Still muddy, but many places to walk still. Only complaint is the idiot cyclists careening through the parking area. Laughed my butt off when 2 crashed into one another.. other than that, beautiful park with rolling hills and many features to wander around and explore, a true park. Hope to visit again when everything is in full bloom.

Very nice place for a walk

Nice place to take a walk! There are still some ice on the ground, which makes walking a little bit risky! Overall a great park!
In summer, use the splash pad near the cedar maze for baby water play. Dress baby in layers and skip the splash pad when T < 18°C. Paths stay open year-round but check ice conditions in winter.
