Free stroller loans, changing tables and nursing rooms in four sites ease infant care; flat garden paths suit buggies, yet loud planetarium shows and no strollers in theatres limit options.
Why 1-2 days visit duration is ideal for with baby: Split visits over two days to allow naps and breaks between attractions.
Stroller-friendly paths in the Botanical Garden:
Flat, paved walkways through themed outdoor gardens.
Tip: Borrow a stroller at the Reception Centre with a photo ID; visit early to avoid crowds.
Biodome ecosystem trail:
Indoor paths through rainforest, polar, and marine habitats.
Tip: Use the free stroller loan at the lobby and follow the one-way route to save steps.
Insectarium accessible displays:
Wide ramps and aisles showcase live insects and a butterfly aviary.
Tip: Visit the butterfly zone in mid-morning when butterflies are most active.
Hands-on exhibits at the Biosphere:
Interactive displays on water, climate, and sustainability.
Tip: Check baby entry policy before visiting and use the on-site nursing room.
Spring brings cherry blossoms in the Japanese and Chinese gardens—pack a light blanket for picnics under blooms. In winter, stick to indoor sites like the Biodome and Insectarium to avoid the cold.

We love Space for life ! We come every week for the past 7 years! I used to park my car under the ground when my daughter was younger! The only problem is the parking ticket is getting more and more expensive! I wish that Space for life can offer parking for members with a reduced price!

I recommend buying the annual pass if you plan to visit all 5 attractions as it will will save you alot of money rather than buying separate tickets 🎫

A breathtaking greenhouse with literally hundreds of plants from all over the world. I was in awe the whole time at the amount and variety of fauna in this one building. Overall, I would highly recommend coming here if you are already checking out the Botanical Gardens.

This is such a great place to walk around and observe nature and be in the moment. So much to explore and learn, fun for the kids and family trips! The staff were kind and it was easy to find facilities.

Can’t even think of the right words to describe how beautiful my experience was here! My boyfriend and I came here on a whim, as I always enjoy checking out nurseries and plant shops when traveling. SO happy we came in! Only a portion of the museum was closed off due to weather/temperature, but we were still able to go in most of the greenhouses. Pictures do not even do this place justice.
