What makes it 62% Kids-Friendly: Shows like Disney in Concert and tennis sessions appeal to children, but loud volume, no booster seats, limited kids' toilets and evening end times lower practical comfort for the under-12 group.
Why 3-4 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A typical show lasts around 2 hours; include time for travel, snacks, and a brief stroll on the Heysel Plateau.
Disney en Concert – Autour du Monde:
Live orchestral performance of Disney melodies.
Tip: Book mid-tier seats for best sound and view; bring ear protection for younger kids.
Lord of the Dance:
Irish dance spectacle with colorful costumes and rhythms.
Tip: Choose front-row seats for vivid visuals; check age restrictions for children under 5.
Stroll the Heysel Plateau:
Wide open esplanade with Atomium views.
Tip: Arrive early or stay after the show to let kids run safely and snap family photos.
Grab quick-serve snacks:
Hotdogs, fries, pasta and spring rolls at arena stalls.
Tip: Buy before intermission to avoid long lines; snacks start at €3.30.

Had a really great experience watching the AOT beyond the walls concert here, great atmosphere and everything was well organised. If there's a show that interests me I'll definitely come back😄

To get there by car took forever, typical Belgian traffic jams and whilst the police where at the venue, there was absolutely no assistance from them to regulate the traffic. ALSO, nowhere did it advise that Parking C was open. If arriving by car, this should be your default choice. FINALLY, the venue itself, very little theatre seating, mostly on flat ground so visibility is poor and it had been ...

A top venue in the north of Brussels I was impressed by the quality of the venue – modern, well-maintained, and ideal for events. The only downside was the parking, which is located about a 10-minute walk away. Aside from that, everything was great.

I have attended a concert here and the experience was Super nice. All people were quite helpful and friendly. Two important points to consider: everything here is cashless ( and that's good ) except the lockers, where you need 1 euro to use them ( so make sure to have one with you because there are no change Machine here! )
In spring and summer, catch the European Open tennis day sessions. In fall and winter, look for family concerts like Disney en Concert. Check the event calendar and book 2 weeks in advance.
