What makes it 75% Kids-Friendly: Kids under 12 pay €5, share a safe enclosed cabin with parents, race around the open plaza or ride the adjacent glass elevator, yet there is no playground or on-site restroom.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Enough time for the Ferris-wheel ride, glass elevator trip, a snack break and plaza play.
Ferris-wheel family ride:
Board an enclosed gondola with UV-protected tempered glass and rise 60 m above the city.
Tip: Buy tickets online to skip lines and secure a family cabin.
Marolles glass elevator:
Take the free Poelaert lift for a transparent ride between levels.
Tip: Use this short ride to thrill kids and link to the lower Marolles district.
Juice bar and snacks:
Grab fresh juice or light bites at the nearby kiosk.
Tip: Order a juice flight with local fruits to refuel after the ride.
Play in the open square:
Let kids run and play in the wide plaza around the wheel.
Tip: Bring a small ball or bubble blower for extra fun on the pavement.

Awesome, great venue setting but if you get there before 12:00 then lots of the stalls around it are closed.

The Ferris Wheel in Brussels is a lovely experience. You get a beautiful panoramic view of the city, especially at sunset or in the evening when the lights come on. A simple but very enjoyable ride to see Brussels from above!

The Ferris wheel is absolutely beautiful. We didn't take a ride, as it didn't seem necessary. But we still enjoyed the view of Brussels at night and the Ferris wheel from the ground 😊

Great view of Brussels from a vantage point, you can see most iconic attractions, museums, churches and so on from the top, plus it is very beautiful at sunset A bit on the expensive side at 10 euros per person for 3 tours, but in the end it was worth it

Nice Ferris wheel with a good view from the top of the hill. Slightly overpriced in my opinion but still fine. It’s not a get-in/get-out system: you wait for it to stop, then you board and ride a set number of revolutions.
In winter (late Nov–Dec), enjoy the free Winter Wonders market and kids’ workshops by the wheel. In summer, ride at sunset for cooler temps and soft light.
