What makes it 65% Baby-Friendly: Paved access lets a stroller reach the top and a seasonal beach care room offers a changing bed, but the climb is steep, winds strong, and no dedicated nursing space sits at the pavilion.
Why 0.5-1 day visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to hike, rest at sheltered benches, and visit baby-friendly facilities without rushing.
Spioenkop pram-friendly hike:
Follow the paved dune paths to the Spioenkop pavilion with your stroller.
Tip: Use stroller brakes on steep sections and pause at platforms to rest.
De Rotonde seaside promenade:
Walk on the elevated footbridges and sit on sheltered benches overlooking the sea.
Tip: Let your baby nap in the shade and enjoy the sea breeze.
Astridpark flat path stroll:
Walk the flat paths through Astridpark and stop at the café terrace.
Tip: Choose a table under umbrellas for sun protection.
Wielingenbad paddling pool:
Let your baby splash in the heated toddler pool.
Tip: Bring swim diapers; check opening hours before you go.

Here’s a 500-character review: Wenduine’s Spioenkop is a peaceful coastal viewpoint offering wide North Sea panoramas and a quiet escape from the busier Belgian beaches. The white pavilion adds a charming touch and makes it a nice spot for photos or a scenic rest during a walk or bike ride through the dunes. It’s simple and understated, but that’s part of its appeal. Great for a calm moment, suns...

Great free place for skaters, steps and stuntbikers. Lots of seats to rest for parents, next to the second highest dune on the Belgian coast. There is also a scenic lookout on the top of the nearby dune.

A bit rainy in August but overall pretty nice, seems like a nice spot when the sun is shining. Life guards were put looking even in this weather

A beautiful beach, but the wind blows strongly

One of the ideal place to visit when you are in Wenduine. This place gives you a fantastic viewpoint of the sea/beach and the town. It’s a bit of a hill so I don’t recommend it to those people with leg problems and I don’t think that you can go up with the wheelchair either.
From July to August, use the free care room at Demeyhelling (10:30–18:30); Easter to September enjoy no-step toilets at Demeyhelling; outdoor beach showers are open seasonally to rinse off sand.
