My wife and I enjoyed this museum with a friend while visiting Bruges. The collection includes many fascinating items.

Excellent example of how wealthy landowners and merchants would have lived. Beautifully preserved, multiple floors, and loads of period furniture, artifacts, and exhibits with explanations in English. No elevators may discourage the non-climbers. Visited with the Brugge Museum pass as we had 72hrs in this beautiful city. An interesting and informative museum with a couple of good views of the adjoining area.

So much information to learn about the history and the city of Brugge in this museum. It is well organized and presented professionally. I enjoyed going through all the rooms and reading and seeing century old books like the first city ledgers, the agreements between political heads. All very fascinating.
