What makes it 67% Kids-Friendly: Children up to 12 can safely roam the wide fenced walkway and watch seabirds; nearby arcade and kid portions in the brasserie help, yet there are no playgrounds or themed exhibits on the pier.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Enough time to stroll the pier, enjoy snacks, and try games without rushing children.
Pier Stroll:
Walk the 350 m Art Deco pier on a wide, level path with railings.
Tip: Bring small snacks and let kids pause to watch seabirds and boats.
Arcade & Mini-Rides:
Enjoy a small lunapark off the pier with age-appropriate games and rides.
Tip: Buy tokens (€1 each) in advance and set a game limit with kids.
Saltwater Pool at Sea Life:
Swim in an indoor saltwater pool with shallow zones next to the aquarium.
Tip: Pack swimwear and towels; check opening hours on the Sea Life website.
Brasserie Family Snack:
Order fries, simple snacks and child-size portions with direct sea views.
Tip: Ask for high chairs and reserve a table at busy times.

Food was insanely good. I was in paris for 2 days and this was way better than the food i had in a parisian restaurant. The staff are also very friendly. Thr gentleman and the woman were always helping us and taking care of us well. You also have the beautiful view of the ocean from this place. Highly recommended

Just look and the photo and imagine this: you get to eat a delicious dessert, while sitting on the pier of Blankenberge, surrounded by water, good atmosphere and sun 🌞! The only little downside, if I have to, is that I had to wait a bit longer than anticipated on getting my dessert, but hey, it's not that big of a deal since the view is amazing!

Cool location but quite out dated interiors and a bit dirty. But awesome view and very friendly staff.

Terridic place. Do eat their marvellous fish soup. Expensive though.

Beautiful place. There are many restaurants with a great beach view. Great place to have a nice walk by the water and experience the blissful sunset. Recommended for tourists. There was some construction work going on right now but it is still worth a visit for a beautiful calm evening by the sea.
Summer brings strong sun—use sunscreen and hats. Winter is windy—dress in layers. Spring/fall may have sudden showers—carry a light raincoat.
