What makes it 53% Baby-Friendly: Parents with strollers enjoy the level surface and sea air, but the pier lacks guaranteed nursing rooms or diaper tables; you must use shore toilets or ask the brasserie, so plan short stays.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time for a relaxed stroller walk, viewpoint stop, and light meal without rushing.
Stroller-Friendly Pier Walk:
Push your pram along the 350 m flat concrete pier from the Zeedijk to the Art Deco end.
Tip: Start near low tide for calmer wind and fewer crowds.
SkyView Observation Deck:
Enter the circular Art Deco structure at the pier’s end for 360° sea and coastline views.
Tip: Head inside to shelter from wind while enjoying the panorama.
Brasserie Snack Break:
Order fries, seafood bites or desserts with direct sea views at the pier restaurant.
Tip: Call +32 476 66 49 98 ahead to request a high chair or quiet corner for feeding.
Badengebouw Changing Facilities:
Use the accessible toilets and changing room at the Bathers’ Building next to the pier base.
Tip: Between July and August reserve a free beach wheelchair or Tiralo float via VisitBruges.be.

Food was insanely good. I was in paris for 2 days and this was way better than the food i had in a parisian restaurant. The staff are also very friendly. Thr gentleman and the woman were always helping us and taking care of us well. You also have the beautiful view of the ocean from this place. Highly recommended

Just look and the photo and imagine this: you get to eat a delicious dessert, while sitting on the pier of Blankenberge, surrounded by water, good atmosphere and sun 🌞! The only little downside, if I have to, is that I had to wait a bit longer than anticipated on getting my dessert, but hey, it's not that big of a deal since the view is amazing!

Cool location but quite out dated interiors and a bit dirty. But awesome view and very friendly staff.

Terridic place. Do eat their marvellous fish soup. Expensive though.

Beautiful place. There are many restaurants with a great beach view. Great place to have a nice walk by the water and experience the blissful sunset. Recommended for tourists. There was some construction work going on right now but it is still worth a visit for a beautiful calm evening by the sea.
In July–August the Bathers’ Building offers a full accessible changing room and showers. Off-season, bring a portable changing mat and small cash for pay toilets (€0.50).
