What makes it 66% Kids-Friendly: Kids may enter for free on weekends, spot gargoyles, or watch the 30-min Genesis show, but there is no playground, no interactive tour, and parents must manage without child-specific toilets.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Enough time to explore the hall, enjoy the light show, and let kids roam safely without getting tired.
Count gargoyles and spot stained glass:
Let kids stroll the colonnade to find animal carvings and colorful window reflections.
Tip: Turn it into a scavenger hunt with simple checklist.
Genesis immersive light & sound show:
Watch a 30-minute projection mapping journey through the Creation story.
Tip: Bring small cushions or a blanket for floor seating to keep kids comfy.
Family photo under the arches:
Capture memories in the neo-Gothic colonnade bathed in morning light.
Tip: Arrive before 11 AM for softer light and fewer visitors.
Explore nearby City Hall square:
Combine your visit with a quick walk to the Livestock and City Hall plazas.
Tip: Grab a snack or ice cream at nearby cafes after the hall tour.
