What makes it 48% Baby-Friendly: A baby in a stroller can roll smoothly across the flat stone floor, yet parents lack nursing rooms or changing tables, and loud concerts could upset infants, so stays must be short.
Note: Handelsbeurs is 48% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Antwerp for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to explore the barrier-free hall without tiring the baby.
Barrier-free Hall Stroll:
Enter via Borzestraat 31 or Twaalfmaandenstraat for step-free access through the colonnade.
Tip: Push the stroller on smooth stone floors and pick a quiet weekday morning.
Genesis Light & Sound Show:
Enjoy a 30-minute immersive light and music experience designed for all ages.
Tip: Check with the venue about volume levels and bring a cushion to soften noise.
Colonnade Photo Stop:
Take family photos under the neo-Gothic arches and stained-glass reflections.
Tip: Aim for mid-morning light and use the open space to settle the baby.
