PLAZA INN Salzburg City (couple trip)

Shower was blocked and overflowed in 40 seconds flat,fridge didn't work. Room was a bit small. Lovely staff on the desk. Next to a busy road.

We recently stayed at PLAZA INN Salzburg City and although not the best experience, we wouldn't stay again. The hotel is small , nothing fancy, but seemed clean and well-kept. I never write reviews but this Hotel frustrated the hell out of me. Card key didn't work around midnight and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive and lock me in. The sound isolation is TERRIBLE, so if you want a peaceful and quiet stay this place definitely isn't for you. Also having the door knocked on FOUR times before 10am by the staff to check if the room is empty?

While the room is renovated, has some light sensors and so on, feels cozy and nice with a nice shower as well. The experience itself was really, really creepy. The noise coming from the other rooms is unbearable, there is no 24/7 reception to tell them the concern to deal with the guest, you will have to live with it. I stayed here in the beginning of April. The hotel is recently renovated, all furniture and linens are new. Room was not big but enough for 1 person, and bathroom was quite big. Some lights work with motion sensor. It sounds good and modern but it was weird sometimes.
