What makes it 50% Baby-Friendly: Babies enter free and strollers fit through the barrier-free door, but the museum lists no changing or nursing room and its narrow period rooms make long visits tiring for parents.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Time to tour the apartment, visit the garden cottage, and explore the audio-visual collection without rushing with a baby.
Self-guided apartment tour:
Walk through the eight restored rooms where Mozart lived from 1773 to 1780.
Tip: Use a baby carrier; rooms are compact and strollers may not fit.
Magic Flute House in the garden:
Visit the small wooden cottage where Mozart worked on The Magic Flute.
Tip: Let your baby enjoy the view from the stroller or carrier; no extra fee.
Mozart Audio-Visual Collection:
Browse free audio and video recordings of Mozart’s works on the lower level.
Tip: Bring baby-friendly headphones for quiet music during naptime.

The Mozart family lived here from 1773 to 1787 but W A Mozart left the place in 1781 to live with his wife Constanze in rented apartments in Vienna. I missed an impression of the original decorations of the 18th century but that may be due to the fact that the house was largely destroyed by a bomb in 1944. Unless you view Mozart with Utmost devotion, this place is entirely skippable.. Almost half the artifacts displayed has no relevance to Mozart.. For most, this mueseum for a 15 Euro it will appear a rip-off. Save this money and attent a Mozart Concert in town or in Vienna instead

We been there last May and the place is just normal. Its an old building and you can see a small sign with Mozart woonhaus on it with austrian flag. Its a museum but we didnt go inside for the tour. Its easily accessible to public transportation in Austria and its also nearby like 5 min walking to the Mirabelle palace garden

Nothing too interesting if you aren’t really a music fan… had I known this I would’ve skipped this to save some money and I’d have gone straight to the birth house, which was very interesting indeed. Enjoyed the free app with the guided tour.
In summer, cool off with a stroll to the garden cottage. In winter, visit mid-morning on weekdays for a calm, warm indoor experience.
