Hotel Sailer (solo trip)

Nice hotel. Modern room. Good ambience in the bar. Staff very friendly. Terrible pillows.

The location was good, near to the train station and 15 mins walk to alstadt Food was also really good and the rooms were very clean. What let's this not be a 5 star is the mistakes they made with the innsbrook card which we purchased directly from the hotel. The rooms were fine and the location is central. I was surprised though that were was no warning about the noisy construction right across the street. See video. Perfect location for train travellers, few steps from the central station. Also great for nightlife and visiting as a tourist, as the old town and city center are just a few steps away. Great hotel and location. We had the unfortunate incident of forgetting a bag in the taxi we came in. The girls at the desk were very helpful in calling and following up with the cab company given we were only there for 24 hours to ensure we got the bag back in time. There is construction on going across the road but hopefully only temporary. This meant we could not open the windows.
