What makes it 80% Solo-Friendly: Free Wi-Fi, shaded picnic tables, jogging-friendly beach and low weekday crowds suit solo relaxation or remote work; limited lighting and no lockers slightly reduce convenience, so 80.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: Enough time to set up a workspace, enjoy a beach run, and capture sunset photos.
Outdoor workspace:
Use the shaded picnic tables and free Wi-Fi for remote work or reading.
Tip: Visit on weekday mornings for quieter tables and check battery life—bring a portable charger.
Yoga and meditation:
Lay your mat on the grass or sand for yoga or mindfulness to the sound of waves.
Tip: Arrive early to find a shaded spot and face east for soft morning light.
Beach run or walk:
Jog east toward Alexandra Headland or west toward Cotton Tree on the flagged beachfront.
Tip: Use the public showers afterward to rinse off sand and salt.
Sunset photography:
Capture long-exposure or time-lapse shots of the sun setting over the ocean.
Tip: Bring a lightweight tripod and aim for 30 minutes before sunset for best light.

Parked overnight 3 days, no problems. BBQ and toilets clean every morning, the nearest indoors showers are ~3 mins walk from here :)

I love this spot and I brought my children here for years. Given the kids can play in the playground while the parent's cook the BBQ on the 2 bbq's provided, there's a huge green space for football or running around and it's right on the beachfront with plenty of parking, it's a great spot. It's usually fairly quiet during the week too. Oh and access to toilets right there. Brilliant family space.

Good, clean BBQ's and tables in the shade. Lots of toilets. The new floor at the play ground isn't great for the kids, it gets hot and is uneven so they can trip. Or even get toes stuck in the holes in it. Other than that kids enjoy the equipment and snakes and ladders game. Great free Sunshine coast WiFi.

Summer mornings are cooler for yoga and work. Winters bring mild evenings ideal for sunset shots. Always carry water and sunscreen year-round.
