What makes it 71% Baby-Friendly: Wide pram ramp, shade and accessible toilet allow visits with infants, but there is no built-in change table, nursing room or hot-water station, so longer stays are less convenient, scoring 70.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to enjoy the playground, beach ramp and feeding breaks without rushing.
Pram-friendly beach stroll:
Roll your pram down the wide ramp onto firm sand for a gentle seaside walk.
Tip: Go at low tide to keep paths smooth and stay closer to the water line.
Shaded feeding and rest:
Use benches under shade sails next to toilets to feed or soothe your baby in comfort.
Tip: Arrive before lunch to secure a shaded bench before midday sun.
Family picnic at BBQ shelters:
Grill sausages or veggies on the free electric BBQs and dine at covered picnic tables.
Tip: Pre-cut and pre-cook items at home for quick meal prep and less clean-up.
Play mat on grassy lawn:
Lay a blanket or mat on soft grass under shade for baby to crawl or nap.
Tip: Position near the playground so adults can watch both baby and older siblings.

Parked overnight 3 days, no problems. BBQ and toilets clean every morning, the nearest indoors showers are ~3 mins walk from here :)

I love this spot and I brought my children here for years. Given the kids can play in the playground while the parent's cook the BBQ on the 2 bbq's provided, there's a huge green space for football or running around and it's right on the beachfront with plenty of parking, it's a great spot. It's usually fairly quiet during the week too. Oh and access to toilets right there. Brilliant family space.

Good, clean BBQ's and tables in the shade. Lots of toilets. The new floor at the play ground isn't great for the kids, it gets hot and is uneven so they can trip. Or even get toes stuck in the holes in it. Other than that kids enjoy the equipment and snakes and ladders game. Great free Sunshine coast WiFi.

Great place for the Family Complex facilities for a good stay Everything very close Beach shelter BBQ play area Fabulous
In summer (Dec–Feb), visit early morning or late afternoon to avoid heat and UV. In winter (Jun–Aug), midday stays mild but bring a light blanket for baby. In spring (Sep–Nov), pack a rain cover for the pram against sudden showers.
