Queensland Air Museum - Aviation Museum Sunshine Coast (solo trip)

Cool museum with a lot of different planes and helicopters. Must stop if you like aviation. Definitly have a chat with the volunteer guides as well! We spoke with Noel and that was really interesting! A lot of knowledge and experience there. All in all a nice stop along our east coast trip.

I would fully recommend visiting this lovely museum in Caloundra near the sunshine coast. We were travelling back from Hervey Bay and as a aviation enthusiast I had to call in. Recommended by family, popped in for a visit and was welcomed by super friendly staff and volunteers. Really good value for how big the museum is, and had a few staff explain some of the aircraft and told some great personal stories from their time flying. Sat in the cockpit of the Lockheed AP-3C with one of the staff had lots of laughs. Will most definitely come back next time on the sunny coast.
