Spectacular place, great reef to snorkel
Jodie Crosby
We spent the night at Butterfly Bay, Hook Island. Peaceful, beautiful. We took a public mooring, easy to access. We had a whale close to the yacht, and saw Manta Rays and dolphins. Reef was easily visible low tide. Great shelter from the prevailing winds from the SE.
Visit May to October for calm seas and fewer jellyfish. If traveling November to April, wear stinger suits when snorkeling.
