Nudey Beach is an absolute must-visit. It’s completely different from the beaches near the pier, with lots of beautiful coral that makes you feel like you’re in another world. If I get the chance, I’d love to stay at one of the resorts on the island.

Great little island for snorkelling. 45min boat ride from Cairns. Plenty of green turtles and pretty coral. Do the glass bottom boat ride of you don't want to get your feet wet. Loads of options for food and drinks. You will need about 6 hrs all up if you want to make the most of it.

Was given a box lunch, which wasn't pleasant as nothing had lids on and spoilt a...

The weather was good, so the island was very pretty and clean. Good snorkeling, good view overall. Tap Beer was expensive, but the stake sandwich was worth the order.
October–May brings marine stingers; wear a full-body suit. June–August is cooler and calmer with fewer crowds.
