Friendly staff, great art and clean toilets. Lovely gifts in the shop, which support local artists, not rubbish stuff.

The art gallery is very small but worth the visit. When I went, a whole floor was closed since they were getting it ready for an exhibition so I could not see much. It’s enough to have a little cultural experience in such a small location. The shop is very nice, lots of books and aboriginal art work.

Well curated shows featuring really great Aussie artists. Entry is free. Not really a place for small children. Highly recommended.
Visit between May and October for comfortable outdoor walks before and after your gallery stop. In the wet season, plan your visit in the afternoon when showers ease and use the gallery as a dry retreat.
