I recently stayed at the Novotel and was disappointed with a few aspects. The shower was extremely uncomfortable - the water pressure was far too strong, making it hard to enjoy. Service was also below expectations; basic amenities like tissues and a shower cap were not provided unless requested, which was frustrating. My stay at Novotel Surfers Paradise was fantastic, thanks to the exceptional staff. Hannah, the night receptionist, promptly resolved a room service menu issue with a friendly, professional attitude.
