Paradise Country was a lovely, low-key change of pace after the hustle and bustle of the bigger theme parks like Movie World and Sea World. It offered a more relaxed atmosphere, with a rural charm that was refreshing. The shows were surprisingly engaging—especially the stockman and horse shows, which gave a nice insight into Aussie farm life. It was great to see characters like Shaun the Sheep, w...

We had such a good day at the farm. It’s really spacious and relaxed, and the animals are super friendly. The kids had a blast brushing the goats and checking out all the animals up close. The tractor ride was fun, and the $10 pony rides are a great option for the little ones. We also caught the sheepdog show—it was honestly one of the highlights, really fun to watch. You can even take a photo wi...

There are photo opportunities with koalas and dingoes, and twice daily lorikeet feeding (to watch, not participate in). You can do a Farmstay experience and sleep over "glamping"-style. We did the Koala Breakfast encounter, which consisted of a buffet cooked breakfast and the opportunity to view a koala having the...

Really basic. Shows were underdone, short, not interesting. Shaun the sheep show could have been fun, but was about 3 minutes of dancing to music .. what a shame. Wouldn't have taken much to add a 15 min play for the kids. Not many kangaroos, or variety in animals. Lone Pine is a better bet for families.
In summer (Dec–Feb), start early and wear sun protection. In winter (Jun–Aug), mornings are cooler—bring a light jacket.
