Great venue for AASCF National Championships (Cheer and Dance). Theatre and arena packed, accessible food and trams nearby, well air-conditioned and great vibe! Only feedback would be to train staff better to not encourage spectators to walk in front of spectators during routines.

Visited the convention centre recently to see Matchbox Twenty. Being a smaller venue provides a great facility and venue for a concert although the seats aren't very comfortable. It was also very strange to be told you can't stand at a music concert. Needs to be reconsidered if any more shows in the future. And $14 for a drink, omg... make sure you have some prior to arriving.

What a great place. Attended Matchbox 20. The Arena hold 6000 and it was a sold out show. We came from Brisbane and were worried about location and traffic but it was fine. Great parking options and compared to the BEC so much easier in and 100% faster to exit. Really well set out and loved the food vans which helped with feeding the crowds. Our seats were amazing and very comfortable compa...

Being right across the road from the main hotels and restaurants of Broadbeach and the casino is very handy and the undercover air bridge is so handy when it’s sunny or raining. Food was pretty good too. Although the additional outdoor eating station was a bit strange to get to down som...
