Stroller access, a private parents room and many change tables assist carers, although babies receive no entertainment and there is no quiet nap area beyond the basic parents room.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Gives time to use baby facilities, relax on the parklands, and visit a short expo or café without rushing.
Use the Parents’ Room:
Private cubicles with changing tables and seating for feeding.
Tip: Locate it in Foyer B near restrooms and bring wipes for surfaces.
Picnic on the Parklands:
2,000 m² of lawn is stroller-friendly for outdoor rests or feeds.
Tip: Arrive early to find shade and bring a small blanket.
Visit a Baby Expo:
Events like the Pregnancy, Babies & Children’s Expo offer talks and workshops.
Tip: Buy early-bird adult tickets online for A$5–10 and check the schedule.
Grab Snacks at the Café:
On-site café serves sandwiches, fruit cups and hot drinks.
Tip: Order fruit cups for a quick baby-friendly snack and warm bottles in the Parents’ Room.

Great conference venue, but bloody chilly at our booth.

Great venue for AASCF National Championships (Cheer and Dance). Theatre and arena packed, accessible food and trams nearby, well air-conditioned and great vibe! Only feedback would be to train staff better to not encourage spectators to walk in front of spectators during routines.

Visited the convention centre recently to see Matchbox Twenty. Being a smaller venue provides a great facility and venue for a concert although the seats aren't very comfortable. It was also very strange to be told you can't stand at a music concert. Needs to be reconsidered if any more shows in the future. And $14 for a drink, omg... make sure you have some prior to arriving.

Our seats were amazing and very comfortable compa...

Food was pretty good too. Although the additional outdoor eating station was a bit strange to get to down som...
