Pram-friendly ramps and highchairs help, yet no baby-change tables, loud speakers and lack of quiet nursing space make visits short and require parents to plan feeds and diaper changes off-site.
Note: Fisherman’s Wharf Tavern is 49% Baby-Friendly. You may want to consider other Baby-Friendly Things to Do in Gold Coast for a more suitable experience.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a relaxed meal and stroller walk without tiring the baby.
Early waterfront lunch:
Dine on fish & chips or pasta with marina views before peak hours.
Tip: Reserve a highchair and quiet corner when booking.
Waterfront stroller walk:
Push the pram along the marina boardwalk right outside the tavern.
Tip: Use ramped access for smooth strolling.
Family seafood platter:
Share prawns, oysters, and calamari on a single platter.
Tip: Order early to ensure availability and check current prices.

Tavern on the water. Awesome venue for lunches with the family. Water level among the yachts on the broadwater. Its not kids friendly due to its location on the water. The venue does have the usual pokies and gaming. Pool table and outside patio area. Massive bar and undercover dining when weather is bad. Wheelchair friendly. Portions are big. Lots of seagulls, please note.

Appetizer soft shell crab is delicious, just bit salty. But there is local standard taste. Environment also nice to taking photos

We asked the kitchen to please cook them longer. 5 mins later they came back out no better. The staff also were not friendly or overly helpful when sorting this issue. The steak was still inedible and such a waste...

Worst dining experience ever. The only thing that made each meal somewhat palatable was the the bottle of wine we ordered with dinner. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't go back. Menu was basic and bland. Sorry g...

You just gotta have seafood in the Gold coast and Fisherman’s Wharf offers wholesome & fresh seafood. The view and beers are equally satisfying. In a nutshell, it’s a great place to have a long weekend lunch or even a long weekday lunch if you can escape from your boss.
