Prams fit on most of the gravel path and shaded benches help with feeds, yet toilets have no confirmed change tables and some sandy patches are bumpy, so plan short visits and bring gear.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows a relaxed pram stroll, wildlife spotting and snack breaks without rushing.
Pram-friendly stroll:
Follow the flat 3.5 km gravel trail from Philip Park towards The Spit.
Tip: Do a 1 km out-and-back from Philip Park to match baby’s pace and use shaded benches.
Wildlife spotting:
Scan for rainbow lorikeets, ibis and bush-stone curlews in the heath and dunes.
Tip: Carry binoculars and look near tree edges early morning for most sightings.
Picnic at Seaway end:
Use picnic shelters, tables and water bubblers at the trail’s northern end.
Tip: Bring a blanket and nappy change mat; toilets are nearby but have no change tables.
Beach break:
Let the baby touch sand and paddle at the nearest beach access points.
Tip: Choose a calm inlet and keep sunshade within arm’s reach to protect from UV.

It’s absolutely gorgeous. Anyway you go you will enjoy.
Nikki Prime (Ocean)
Ride your bike, walk, or run the track. It's absolutely stunning once you're inside the track, and there is the option to do some of the trek along a section of the beach. Definitely worth the walk, be sure to pack a snack or picnic and plenty of water. Not ideal with prams, unless they have big beach or off road wheels/tyres! If you get too tired for the walk back to Surfer's Paradise, you can ju...
Meg Emerton
This is part of the Spit walk and we started at the bottom end at Federation Walk and walked along to the very end to the sea wall and back again ...7kms. You can go either way via the beach and when you get to the sea wall end if you turn left there is the Spit cafe with nice views out over the seaway. Along the walk you will see signs for the Park Run as this is where it is held. At the Spit Caf...
Yodaman Solo
This walks path and area has plenty of opportunity for fitness and scenic views along the way. It meanders along the water and also through various parks and green spaces. It’s in close proximity to the Seaworld Resort and Seaworld theme park. Very pleasant! 👍😎

Soothing and isolated beach and park. Perfect place to relax with lack of people present. Can be noisy due to helicopters constantly flying over from Seaworld. Parklands are nice and shady. Litter is an issue here, please keep your rubbish to yourself.
