The coastal path, sunset ocean views and shaded picnic tables create an easy, free date spot, yet it lacks cafés or evening lighting, so bring your own food and leave before darkness.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: This time allows a leisurely 3.5km walk with stops for photos, birdwatching, and a picnic.
Sunset Nature Walk:
Stroll the 3.5km flat trail from Philip Park to the Seaway at dusk.
Tip: Start 30 minutes before sunset to reach the dunes at golden hour.
Beach Photography:
Capture golden sands, breakers, and the Surfers Paradise skyline.
Tip: Bring a tripod or use a phone with a stabilizer for long-exposure shots.
Birdwatching:
Spot lorikeets, ibis, and bush-stone curlews in rainforest patches.
Tip: Walk quietly and use binoculars to view birds without disturbance.
Picnic Date:
Use shaded tables and bubblers at the Seaway end for a riverside meal.
Tip: Pack a blanket and light snacks to enjoy on the grass near the benches.
Bike Ride:
Cycle the compacted gravel path together from start to end.
Tip: Rent bikes from nearby shops; book in advance to secure the best rates.

It’s absolutely gorgeous. Anyway you go you will enjoy.
Nikki Prime (Ocean)
Ride your bike, walk, or run the track. It's absolutely stunning once you're inside the track, and there is the option to do some of the trek along a section of the beach. Definitely worth the walk, be sure to pack a snack or picnic and plenty of water. Not ideal with prams, unless they have big beach or off road wheels/tyres! If you get too tired for the walk back to Surfer's Paradise, you can ju...

This is part of the Spit walk and we started at the bottom end at Federation Walk and walked along to the very end to the sea wall and back again ...7kms. Along the walk you will see signs for the Park Run as this is where it is held. At the Spit Caf...
Yodaman Solo
This walks path and area has plenty of opportunity for fitness and scenic views along the way. It meanders along the water and also through various parks and green spaces. It’s in close proximity to the Seaworld Resort and Seaworld theme park. Very pleasant! 👍😎

Soothing and isolated beach and park. Perfect place to relax with lack of people present. Can be noisy due to helicopters constantly flying over from Seaworld. Parklands are nice and shady. Litter is an issue here, please keep your rubbish to yourself.
