What makes it 74% Baby-Friendly: Pram-friendly path and benches suit a stroller nap, and baby-change is 3 min away, but no shade, no on-site toilets and no nursing room require extra supplies and short stays.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a gentle walk, rest breaks, picnic and playground visit with a baby.
Pram-friendly lookout walk:
Follow a sealed gravel path from the Dairy Farmers Hill car park to the viewing platform.
Tip: Use a stroller with sturdy wheels and watch for small stones along the path.
Picnic at Nest III sculpture:
Enjoy snacks at the picnic table next to the large steel eagle sculpture.
Tip: Bring a blanket and pre-packed food to feed your baby while enjoying the view.
Pod Playground play break:
Drive 3 minutes to the Visitor Centre’s nature-themed playground with toddler slides and sand play.
Tip: Pack a change of clothes and supervise sand play closely.
Nature rest under nearby trees:
Spread a travel mat beneath the shaded trees beside the platform for feeding or napping.
Tip: Bring a lightweight mat and sunshade for comfort.

One of the best sunset point in Canberra!! BUT remember my best tips - arrive before sunset time in iphone at least 1hour!!!😭I was driving during the best golden hour...was absolutely stunning!! Everything was orange color at the moment sooooo pretty.
The Mog Champ
The Mog Champ sends his regards. Definitely one of the best viewpoints in Canberra and a place both locals and visitors can enjoy especially on a blue sunny sky. One of the best benches you could sit on for even a short moment to appreciate nature in its entirety! There are a few more benches around the lookout but the one closest to the parking area would be my favourite. Mogliest Regards, Your...

Absolutely positively beautiful. I’d say this is the best lookout spot in Canberra. Either for sunrise, sunset, moonrise, it’s a 360 degree view of everything. The nature is simply breathtaking. I can spend the whole afternoon here. I recommend going here during the weekdays because there’s limited parking spaces during the weekends.

A very beautiful place, a must visit. Breathtaking views of the Mountains on all sides. You can keep driving throughout the hill and stop at the lookout point or park on the side or walk along the scenic views.
Visit in the morning to avoid summer heat. In spring look for wildflowers along the track; dress in layers on windy winter days.
