It's fairly cheap and you get to see a bit of Australian wildlife up close. Not bad for kids, and the park around the area is quite nice. It is crowded on the weekends, most people come by to use the lake from what I can see. They've got a wombat, and emu, an echidna and a platypus. And a big carpet snake. Wonderful spot for a swim and paddleboarding, quite good parking size and easy to walk to the water, beautiful place with lots of vegetation and mostly birds and turtles.

This is such a special spot. Lovely cafe and animal enclosure walk throughs - the staff are lovely, full of information and friendly smiles. Enjoyed a splash afterwards. We'll definitely be back again with our annual passes. Very affordable.

The absolute star of the show was the emu full of personality and totally stole the spotlight. I also got to see a wallaby and a few other animals, which made the visit feel worth it.
