Walkabout Creek Discovery Centre (with kids)

It's fairly cheap and you get to see a bit of Australian wildlife up close. Not bad for kids, and the park around the area is quite nice. Wonderful spot for a swim and paddleboarding, quite good parking size and easy to walk to the water, beautiful place with lots of vegetation and mostly birds and turtles.

This is such a special spot. Lovely cafe and animal enclosure walk throughs - the staff are lovely, full of information and friendly smiles. Enjoyed a splash afterwards. We'll definitely be back again with our annual passes. Very affordable.

The absolute star of the show was the emu full of personality and totally stole the spotlight. I also got to see a wallaby and a few other animals, which made the visit feel worth it. I’ve got to be honest though… the crocodile tank made me laugh. They hype it up like you’re about to meet some giant beast, but it’s actually a tiny baby croc that’s basically the size of a giant gecko. Cute, but def...

Great value for $9 pp. we arrived about 3pm and were worried we would not get to see the animals. However they are very active in the late afternoon. Staff were friendly and informative.
