What makes it 70% Baby-Friendly: Babies can nap on lawns, ride prams on paved paths and touch low musical panels; however, no nursing room or change table means carers must manage feeds and changes outdoors.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows playtime, sensory exploration and a quick train ride without tiring your baby.
Toddler-Friendly Nature Play Area:
Explore fenced junior zone with sand-and-water tables, timber tractor and small swings.
Tip: Bring a spare outfit for post-play sand and creek adventures.
Sensory Gardens & Musical Panels:
Let baby touch raised plant beds and play low-level xylophone and chimes.
Tip: Use the musical panels to calm or entertain your baby gently.
Bucket-Seat Flying Fox & Accessible Carousel:
Enjoy gentle rides suitable for toddlers with secure bucket seats.
Tip: Hold your baby firmly and start with a slow ride to gauge comfort.
Miniature Train Rides:
Ride a small-gauge train on 2nd and 4th Sundays; babies under 2 ride free.
Tip: Check with staff about stroller boarding or bring a baby carrier.

Wonderful large grass reserve where dog obedience classes are held. A good place to let your dog have a run around off lead in quiet times. However, it sits between States & Wheatsheaf Rds, which can be quite busy at certain times of the day, so keep that in mind.

Wow! Such an amazing place for a day out/picnic! There is lots of space here and even tiny steam trains that you can take a ride on. Plenty of play area for kids in the park and there's also an obstacle course for your dog. Yep, this place is dog friendly too. Plenty of parking spots available and toilet facilities too.
In summer, visit early to use shaded picnic shelters. In winter, check play surfaces for dampness and pack a blanket.
