Nice park to get away from the hustle bustle of the city. Nice scenery, statues, trees, flowers and water birds that seem friendly.

Two weddings were happening on the Saturday we visited. It is idyllic and always looking it's best. The roses are spectacular and water features punctuate the sweeping grasses. A beautifully tranquil experience at the edge of a capital city.
In spring (Sep–Nov) the rose beds are at peak bloom. In summer, visit before 9 AM to avoid heat. Autumn (Mar–May) offers cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.
